    Liverpool v Newcastle (H) PL

    Weds 8pm
    BT Sport

We go again. A good morale boosting win yesterday but we have to be prepared for a tough game here. St Maxim looks to have improved and they just bought a new CF.

    Injury update

Sound like Thiago and Jota are close but not quite ready.

I reckon we will be same again as v Bournemouth.

According to PL injuries, ASM is out injured after coming off today, so won’t play Weds…

Joels let out a beefy one, the poor kid is downwind and took a lung full
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'd go unchanged to get some rythm going, we'll hopefully have Matip and Jones on the bench. Slowly looking better but I still hope we get another midfielder in though.

Doesn't seem much excitement in here for this one?

Think it's a great chance to smack an understrength Newcastle around and remind them of the mountain they still have to climb to be even close to competitive at the top of this league*

*as long as we don't concede first again!

I had a look at their likely starting XI and with all their injuries (still less than us), their team does look quite poor. Definitely a good chance to get another 3 points and build some momentum.

Really looking for Salah to get back amongst the goals tonight. I think having him fully firing is almost a guarantee of us going on a winning run.

I think the lack of excitement, if there is any, is due to a slight nervousness still among us. I think until we string a few wins together again then it will be like this.

Hope the Kop is bouncing for this one. Let’s keep the momentum going from Bournemouth and into the derby.
