Honestly never heard of him before yesterday. I haven’t seen any YouTube vids, but have seen it written several times from different sources that he is technically brilliant. That’s good enough for me

        Welcome

He looked very good whenever I saw him play at barca. Presume they sold due to fininaces.

He's slow though, and if he's another crock then you know he'll be out instantly...

It’s a low risk/ cost gamble for the club really when it seems obvious our top midfield target (s) weren’t available. We all know Jurgen will wait for the right player so this guy has the chance to show he’s worth a contract with us. We will need 2-3 midfielders next season to replace Dads Army so if this guy adapts & settles & importantly stays fit he’s got the advantage of hitting the ground running next season. If not he’s only cost us buttons in comparison to what Juve spent to get him to sign there.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

It was a massive FFP swiz. They did an overinflated value swap deal with Juve.

Anyhow, regarding the player, he looks technically good and for Barca seemed ok, but seen some clips from Juve that look very poor. Hopefully he can find a role with us and do a job.

I would have preferred a mobile box to box 26 year old version of hendo (zakaria I presume we were in for originally), but none the less, welcome Arturo

Good luck to him. Still think the club should have strengthened more though. Time will tell.

Only about half as a starter though. So started 1 in 4 games, got on as sub in 1 in 3 of those he did not start in.

I think we wanted Arthur over Zakaria, he'll offer more press resistance and allow us to control games when Thiago is out. I have good feeling about him fitting in, the fitness is the main concern IMO, but it doesn't seem too bad.

Indeed but you’ve got to assume that if he’s on the bench he’s at least partially fit so, he wasn’t not getting game time due to injuries.
