We didnt repalce Gini in a season where our midfield was pushed to the limit. Last season we ran ourselves ragged and were ****ed during the run in. And we started this season as is with a midfield averaging plus 30 years in a team that relies on heavy movement and pressing.

The team is broken. Adding teenagers to offset grandads was never the answer. We need 3 mid to late 20s players in the middle to remain competitive. We instead blew our budget on Salah and Nunez, and sold our only effective right back cover when our right back has been out of form for many months.

Its all salvageable, but our press relies on a spritely midfield, which we dont have. We may well be ****ed until January. Injuries have compounded the problem many fold. FSG and Klopp ****ed up, but we have been ****ed over by luck too. Our best players have been utterly awful, and our backups have not been at their best either.

Hopefully we can learn from this.

Diaz is almost an amazing player... I choose to take that positive from the pile of wank.

We could all see that coming, we all knew how Napoli would play, surely our coaching staff and players did too.....yet they serve that insipid **** up.

There is something properly rotten in the playing group. None of them look like they give a **** bar Diaz and Nunez. Trent is a joke. Robbo looks like a league 1 player, Gomez...jesus christ, what the **** man, Virg doesn't care, Fab is trying to carry an entire midfield and looks absolutely cooked, and our entire attack is all coming from an 19 yr old coming off a broken ankle.

But its ok, Oxlade is coming back soon. He'll be a new signing.

And for ****ing ****s sake please for the love of **** put Milner out of his ****ing misery. He's done.

But drop Gomez immediately too pls

Would not drop him yet, but I would move him to RB and drop TAA instead for the Wolves game.

If Konate was fully fit I would be dropping VVD for a few games as well.

Let Thiago and Arthur play in the middle with Fabinho.

Might see us become potentially a bit less inventive but would see us be more press resistent and better able to force play/press. Would argue that at present with supposedly more inventive players in the tem we look utterly disjointed.

Up front I would go with Diaz, Nunez and one from Salah/Jota.

Wield the axe and let under performers sit out games after they have put in a few sub par performnces in a row.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Agree it’s time to wield the axe.

The few times I've seen Gomez at right back he's been hopeless.

He is absolutely dire at RB , But Klopp has to do something with Trent its a ****ing disgrace how he is ambling about not giving 2 ****s.

Klopps team has always been more than the sum of its parts, because everyone gave 110%, Looks like Trent is giving the 10% Maxiumum

He has to shake this team to the at present rotten core.

Agreed but the sensible thing to do is to bring someone in who is better, not worse. Still disappointed we sold Williams but there you go.

The one thing I would say is that there are a whole load of our squad who seem to be underperforming based on their own track record. So they are either all knackered at the same time, or there is something wrong with the system. That's on Klopp to sort out.

This is a great listen - the guys use cold analysis and trends to review the game. Pretty shocking stuff and focus on some of the topics we have highlighted
