Apart from few decent runs Nunez was pretty poor. Trying to take positives from his game but he looks so poor in posession, panicked and frantic and lacking composure in front of goal.

His movement is decent for sure works hard but his touch is panicked and unnatural. His passing is fairly awful and his finishing is solely to get the ball on target, there is no composure there to find a finish. Hopefully he comes good but I thought he was very poor in possession and in front of goal. I think some people are so desperate to find positives to his game that they are not zooming out.

He held the ball up nicely a few times, looked a bit rushed at others. You can see the player he could become. I suspect we need to be patient with him. He puts a shift in which is good.

He got applauded of the pitch which was great he will need that support he looks like that sort of talisman style forward.

Salah played well tonight must have been involved in creating3 or 4 of those Nunez chances.

Performance wise a step in the right direction.

Their Keeper made about 5 or 6 saves a couple of them were outstanding.

It is what it is, but the save from Salah first half and Jota second were incredible.

The 4 Nunez ones he would expect to make but still has to be there.
