With all due respect, please **** right off.

You're just as bad as the ****ing City and Manc fans on twitter with the laser focus on everything Nunez does. You're seeing **** that's not there. He played a few excellent passes and had a few nice shots at goal. At least they were on target, not like the rest of our lot that cant hit a ****ing cows arse with a banjo.

And before people call me a hypocrite for things I've said about Mane and Firmino, I only got on their backs after several seasons of ****e and in both their cases a huge drop off in form from what we were used to.

Nunez has been here for all of 10 minutes and people are on the poor lads back, and its all because of the echo chamber that is twitter and ****ing imbeciles like you that gobble that **** up.

      rant over.

PS: thought we played ok, but Rangers were proper dog****.

Good grief, I think you actually wrote all that with a straight face. We'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were paralytic.

Our forward line seems way off at the moment. Salah's form dropped off a cliff at the end of last season and hasn't picked up again. Same can be said for Jota, but he has also been injured, Nunez hasn't played enough to judge. Diaz is our biggest threat but he is looking rather predictable at the moment, seems to always want come inside and curl a shot to the far post. There seems to be very little interplay, connection or understanding between the front three, when it does happen it seems to come largely through Firmino who it seems would now be doing the pecking order were everyone fit.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Needs a bit more composure once in on goal but he made some nice runs and movement to get into those positions.

what's frustrating about about Diaz is he always seems to backwards to cut inside. Very talented guy but needs to tweak his game, as you said a bit predictable. Nunez wasn't great, made some good runs but yeah early doors. What I will say about Nunez is much like Mane, he seems to play better when playing on instinct. The more time he has on the ball, the more he gets inside his own head. You can see the desperation in him and how frustrated he looks when he makes a mistake. Hopefully he can get out of his head, relax and bring his natural game out. Salah for me was really poor. Looks a shadow if the player we know and has done since AFCON. He looks slow and struggles to beat a man, drops shoulder and cuts inside every time and defenders know it. Jota was decent in the first half but much like Hendo and Thiago looked burned out in the second but no goals since April is crazy. Firmino has got some good numbers but 2 big hauls skew his stats imo, he has been the best of a bad bunch.

There was a few nice balls from Salah to Nunez last night but apart from that, we look disjointed up there.

Any trouble in the stands or around the stadium?

I was watching the match in a bar in Malaga, with no commentary and a 1 degree viewing angle, so my opinion is worthless.

But I thought Nunez performance was encouraging, similar to Haaland's in Charity Shield. Thought Jota was useful too and has us looking much better in attack since he returned.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Nah mate, he's ****e, get with the program. People on twitter say he's ****e, therefore he is. Cant pass, cant shoot and he's too emotional.
