I remember during the tail end of the Hicks & Gillette era a large bloc of our fans wanted to adopt the Barcelona fan ownership model; they were held up as paragons of how a club should be operated. Bullet well and truly dodged.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostNot related to this game but you love to see it

The way to do it is to praise the team when we're doing well and point it out when we're doing badly. If everyone was complaining when we play brilliantly then you've probably got a valid point. This is a forum and when we're **** it's probably the only thing stopping me from developing a speech impediment.Originally posted by slaine View PostI don't often comment on the in game threads, mainly because it is kinda toxic, and I know nothing, but why, just for once can't people just support the team? rather than just complaining all the time?
A strange concept for a few I know, but rather than highlight Henderson getting turned, focus on the nutmeg in midfield that stopped a counter... Perhaps if the energy we remote viewers had was focussed on the positives?
I know that is an idea waaaaay out there, and the 'experts' will want to expert, but hey...Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Always love your commentary on the youth matches mate but I have noticed you’ve dropped off your involvement lately.Originally posted by Venton View PostThe way to do it is to praise the team when we're doing well and point it out when we're doing badly. I dunno. I don't frequent any other forums/social media vehicles but this one seems overwhelmingly negative to meOriginally posted by Venton View PostThe way to do it is to praise the team when we're doing well and point it out when we're doing badly. I would estimate that its a solid 80/20 split in favour of folk ragging on the team vs folk praising the good things
Each to their own obviously, but I just don't get how its always, always how Liverpool are ****. Its like we're the only team playing and how we play is solely down to us, not the opposition
Strikes me as somewhat strangeI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I reckon in that season where we waltzed the league it was all massively positive, because we were playing fantastic football. When we are rubbish it needs to be said. For example, in that first half we were generally woeful and why should we not say it? No one is moaning in the second half are they? And there has been lots of praise for the goals and the assists.Originally posted by Fierce View PostI dunno. I love watching the kids play when I can. There’s less pressure on us fans really & it’s easier to enjoy it & watch the young guys with potential shine.

Very good result that after a very iffy start. Good thing Ajax are all at sea. Takes the pressure off for Napoli now, a fixture I never look forward to. What a game of two halfs!Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad
