Great result but we made it hard work. Keeps us in the race.

It's shocking how bad positioning and defensively he's been. He does not seem to learn and adjust.

There was a change of position and he was playing further forward.
          Are we winning?

Very lucky not to concede a penalty imo. He’s got great vision but I think he’s a bit dense.

Huge result for us that was.

It wasn't a pen but to extend the arm like he did was mind-boggling stupid. We are lucky they have 'tightened the rules' on contact in the box, but I think that just means it's more of a lottery than it once was.

Another worrying aspect to Trent's game is that when he's in a one-on-one confrontation, his first instinct is to grasp at his opponent; shows a lack of confidence in being able to get himself into a position to make a clean challenge.

Hopefully Ramsey can build up his fitness as Trent looks pretty shot right now. Hopefully he doesn’t go to the WC and can have a rest.
That prick Southgate will take him, just so he doesn't get stick for not taking him.

I only watched the extended highlights but it certainly looked like a game of two halves with us dominating the 1st & them the 2nd. I thought it’d be a tough tight match & it certainly proved to be just that. Great result away from home so I’ll take that. Chelsea & United losing is a bonus too.

I wouldn’t say we dominated the first half, although we were the better side. We started very well and were on top until we scored. They got back in it and it was pretty even until we got our second. I know spurs are also on a run of starting games slowly but it was encouraging to see us start positively with plenty of energy/desire. Just fixing our early game jitters would make our prospects a lot better.

I thought that there were aspects of our old game back in there for periods, the performance wasn't great but its all about results at the moment, that was a big win for us
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Thanks for that K. Not dominant but still two to the good will do me.

                              Spurs v Liverpool PL

Great 3 points this and very good first half. Second half was more Spurs throwing the kitchen sink at us with their direct football and early crosses, which any team would find difficult. In the end, a fairly comfortable win. Had we converted our numerous chances on the counter, second half Spurs would have been taken to the cleaners and the game wouldn’t have ended like a feeling of a backs to the wall win.

We just need the consistency and some of our players back. Then January get some reinforcements in.
