How do you stop following/supporting the club you have followed for decades...it's an initial reaction but everyone will still support the club in some way... How else is Klopp supposed to challenged on par with City/chelsea and newcastle

If blood money is the only way anyone can consistently compete, then it's become a sport that holds no appeal for me. That's how I'd walk away. Like Pepe said anyway, it's been a gradual erosion of love for the game. Nearly everything about it stinks. I'm not pretending it would be easy, can't just turn it off like a tap, but I would want out and I don't think I'd have much trouble in walking away.

****ing hell. I struggled to give up tabs and I hadn’t been on a 40 plus year emotional rollercoaster with them. They were literally killing me.

I’ll bet every club had threads like this full of idealists. How easy will it be to cut ties? To divorce. To not care when previously you cared a lot (yeah you bet we did).

The idealist in me says that will be it. The realist in me says the kids are vested in this, how easy will it be to convince them (that said they are fully clued up in such things). We go and watch Hearts already so I guess Od try to focus on that.

I hope it doesn’t happen.

Yeah for me it would feel like the final straw. There's precious little left to love about the game and it's felt for a while like the game is running out of road, for me.

Yep. I hate the constant expansion of tournaments, the blatant crookedness of the sports wash clubs, the whole Qatar WC business, the inevitably of PL games being played abroad. Just everything being compromised for more and more money.

I’ve already half an eye on the end of Klopp’s reign being when I wrap it up.
