Where exactly is the ****ing problem with this photograph?

Our captain in a photograph with his girlfriend and daughter in a very family oriented pose. Ok, its from a glossy magazine but whether you like it or not, footballers are celebrities now and there aren't many more famous than Gerrard. This kinda stuff is now part and parcel of the job as far as I'm concerned.

What would people prefer, photos like this or photos in the tabloids of nightclub fights, shagging prostitues and gambling problems? Gerrard isn't going to get away without some sort of publicity, he is that big of a name in football. I'd rather see a photo like that. It shows him as a loving father and as a positive roll model.

A credit to Liverpool Football Club in my opinion.

It was on A Year In My Life where he said something to the effect of, "Alex likes having her picture taken and I do this sort of thing to make her happy".

Fair play to him, he's probably looking at that picture going, "I look a bit of a tit there like", but he's doing it because his bird wants to. I don't see the problem.

It's a free country, and Stevie's just doing what anyone else in his situation would do. He's making a bit of quick, easy cash, and keeping the wife happy at the same time, by having a few photos taken for a glossy mag on his day off.

He's done nothing wrong.

Yes I remember him saying that. I actually think it's none of my business what he does when he's at home. Although that room is hideously pink! He loves his wife and he loves his kids, he's had his photo taken with them. Whoopy ****in doo! At least he's not in some Welsh court being tried for assault on women!
