Don't know what to say after watching that ****e. These players just don't care.

Would love to know what they all did in Dubai. The level of energy out there is zero. We were supposed to come back from that little camp refreshed and raring to go. Instead they all look dead on their feet, zero belief, injuries galore, zero passion or fight.

TAA got given an absolute bath by that little Japanese lad, absolutely embarrassing defending.

Matip looking like peak Djimi Traore

Donate looks like a deer in the headlights

Salah can **** off the little money grabbing prick

Ox, the unflushable turd. He must have nude pics of the entire coaching staff or something. How he keeps getting in the side just defies logic. He is ****ing ****. He offers nothing. He cant tackle, he cant pass, he cant shoot. He runs around aimlessly all game. Its like playing with 9 men at the moment with him and Mo up front. But he's great at making dancing til-toks apparently.

Robbo has gone from looking like the best LB in the world to a Div.2 level player at the moment. His passing and touch is disgraceful. So many quick attacks are killed the moment he needs 3 touches to bring a ball down or just balloons a pass to the keeper.

Hendo FLMAO. Just put Old' Yeller out of his misery. He's done in whatever role Klopp has him playing. Looked like a traffic cone out there with their midfield just zipping passes straight past him. When he actually gets the ball now, you really see how poor he is technically. Cant even hit simple passes now.

Thiago, feel sorry for him TBH. He's clearly quality in a good side. Still one of the few throwing his body into challenges.

Fabinho looks absolutely dead. Cannot run, cannot tackle, cannot pass. Not buying a midfielder in 4 years has run this poor ******* into the ground.

Ali just looks so frustrated out there. Honestly we'd be in the relegation zone if it wasn't for him this season. He's made so many one on one saves. People don't realise how bad we'd bee without this guy.

Klopp just refuses to change things tactically. I honestly don't know why. The midfield is getting rings run around them. If you cant sign players then maybe try a new tactic?? Is it that hard? Or is he just that stubborn? It would be pretty hard to play much worse than we have against Brentford and Brighton.

We'll be lucky to finish top half at this rate.

Wholesale changes at the end of the season. Not enough of these players have any fight in them.

I didn’t intend to watch MOTD but it was on when I put the TV on this morning, they were saying that our midfield was pressing too high leaving too much space between them and the defence. Now while I would agree there is too much space between them and the defence (Brighton had men over against ourlt defence many times) but I wouldn't say our midfield is pressing, I don't really know what they are doing. It wasn't so much that we were pressing and Brighton were beating the press, we weren't getting close to them they were just playing around us at will.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's probably the worst I've seen us play in years. The press, if you can call it was embarrassing, slow and pathetic. We all knew we would not beat Brighton, most of us said it before the game, we knew the midfield would get out fought and out ran by Brighton and that is exactly what happened. We just look shot to **** and I'm looking at Klopps interviews and thinking.. that's a bloke that won't be here much longer if this carries on.

Thing is, we're chasing Moby Dick in the summer again. Throwing everything we have into Bellingham. Like we seemingly did with Tchouameni last summer, with zero backup plan. Sure, Bellingham looks a generational level of talent. But just him on his own is not going to suddenly change our midfield. He's the type of player the Mancs under Fergie would spend their entire budget on, upgrading what they already had, in a position of strength. Not run what they had into the ground over 5 seasons without upgrading/replacing them.

You'd INSTANTLY upgrade our midfield massively just going to Brighton and getting Caicedo and Macallister. They're both fantastic CM's, run their guts out, can string lovely little passes together, have a bit of bite to them. Would probably save 40m quid too whilst your doing it to then go get someone like Gvardiol and then put Gomez out of his misery at the glue factory (Bournemouth) and have 4 top class CB's. Two of them being in their early 20's.

It's frustrating looking at some of the 'unfashionable' teams (Brentford, Brighton etc) signing players for peanuts from around the world who look fantastic - dynamic, skilful, athletic - whereas we have none of that at the moment. Can the players really have fallen off a cliff physically since last season? Or is it mental? I want Klopp to stay to sort this **** out - but he needs signings to do that, even if he won't ever admit it. We need some beasts in midfield - Yaya Toure types - Gerrard types - to intimidate the opposition. We don't scare anyone with Hendo/Thiago/Fab...apart from our own fans.

I think some of that is due to injuries up front. On paper we look at our attackers and think we still look strong, and it's true that we do to some extent, but Diaz, Jota and Firmino are our best three pressers. Take all three out and we're not as good at it. Yesterday Ox wasn't doing it much at all, and Gakpo is still learning what's expected of him, so the midfield were at times pressing further forward than they should (albeit ineffectively)

Somehow the structure just isn't right though. We look wide open in defence, but somehow have no passing options in attack either. We need to work harder, definitely, but I think there's also a failed tactical change at the heart of all of this.

I suppose I agree to some extent. What they believe is possible has changed. When they believed winning the league was possible they gave absolutely everything that they had. When twice we got to the last game of the season with the league still in the balance it wasn’t lack of effort that meant we lost out.

They can’t possibly believe we can win the league but hopefully they still think we can get top four. But to get there we need signings this month. We need a new Fabinho and a new Gini. We started with our strongest midfield yesterday (Naby fans will disagree) but one of them is running on empty and another should be in the Milner role by now. Watching him as the furthest forward trying to press and Brighton just passing round him was horrible.

Gomez not good here and the goal isn't exactly Trent's fault, but it's ****ing lazy. Sick of him ambling around.

Trent for want of a better word has been a ****ing disgrace this season. That wasn't the only time where he looked like he couldn't give a **** on Saturday.
