Ten times better than Ali. And he’s supposed to be a ‘ball playing keeper’ - never seen Ali look comfortable with the ball at his feet, and he slices it out of play nine times out of ten.
Salah and Fabinho were clearly the worst two players on the pitch when they came on. Both a shadow of themselves. Jones even looked more energetic and he’s coming back from injury…

Salah and Fab should be dropped for a few games…
No one is buying them. We're stuck.

Massive win that - if we had suffered another defeat, the pressure will have really started to mount.
Great performances from young Baj, him Thiago and Keita linked up really well and controlled the midfield much better than we’d seen in the previous three games. Defence were ok without really being tested.
Was great to see Doak charging about at the end like a young Robbo.
Gakpo still not on the same wavelength but to be expected with so many changes. He does seem a bit sluggish compared to our other forwards though.

Yeah Gakpo has looked a bit lost in the mins he's played for us.

We hardly ever throw a player in like we've done with him though. If the others were fit then I'm sure he'd have been eased in gradually. As it is he's learning on the job (as Nunez did to be fair). As with Nunez, he's got the attributes to come good when he works out exactly what the hell it is that he is supposed to be doing
