I don’t take football at “seriously” as I used to but it’s mad how much toil the last few seasons have taken on all of us. Every single game when competing with City was must win, last season was brilliant but heavy, imagine his the players feel……. I think a lot of the **** around this season is just being mentally flat and at this level conceding an inch is the difference between winning and losing

It only takes falling short a few percentage points to make a massive difference in elite sport. Absolutely no doubt falling short in the League and CL will have hit them.

        It's easy really.
2 1 to us it is then

I was half hoping Klopp wouldn't call my bluff. It's the hope that kills.

Oh dear. We could have really done with winning this one.

Probably have as good as chance as with the last side.

Strangely feeling more positive having seen that line up. At least Wolves won’t have a ****ing clue how we’re going to play either…

What’s the worst that can happen? We get dry bummed. The upside is we might sneak a win and see some players trying, rather than the same stagnant play we endure each game

Same. Not really in terms of winning the tie, but I think we might see a more motivated team trying harder and being more ambitious with the ball. If I see that then I’ll be encouraged, whatever the result (within reason).

Getting dry bummed continuously is not my list of resolutions for this year. On any other for that matter. I'd hoped for our strongest team today and this can't be anywhere near it.

Think we'll get beat with that side but is a nice change up. Surprised Milner right back in.

Elliott has a good chance in his proper position. I think we will have a bit more energy
