Always been a great admirer of this lads effort and determination.
Slightly lightweight but makes up for it with his powerful tackles, the midfield beef we need
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Good to see he’s getting a chance. Really could be a make or break season form him.

Get fit and stay fit and he should get game time and if he can show what he did previously he’d be a great option to have. A player who can play the 6 and 8 roles.

        Only 20 still.

Good. Hopefully he can become a trusted option for DM

            He’s still only 20 though.

Has another 2 years to make the breakthrough at Liverpool before he should consider going elsewhere.

              He's a kid still

More like an early bloomer that got crippled by injuries the past 2 and a bit years.

Glad he's staying. Theres an excellent player here and someone that can back up Grav. Just needs to stay fit.

Makes sense why we've let McConnell go too. They both cant get enough time if they stay.

Yeah definitely pleased he’s staying & it’s easy to forget he’s still only 20. He & Trey will dominate the 21’s with a few matches in the Cups & cameos hopefully.

Am I remembering right that he was originally a CB and they converted him into a midfielder?

Correct & possibly played a part in our decision to keep him around.

That’s what I was thinking. Slot doesn’t mind a bit of flexibility in his players especially when chasing games or a man down like how he’s moved Gravenberch into that CB/CM combo role.

It might also be an insurance policy in case we don’t get Guehi

Ha, had the exact same train of thought. Less demands physically at CB, so I wonder if that's what the club are thinking. At least as an emergency option at some stage.

He's definitely looking far stronger now. Put a bit of meat on the bones the last couple of years . He had little twig legs when he first popped into the team

We’re certainly being cautious with this young lad. I hope our perseverance pays off as he’d be more than useful as our 4th choice CB option. He’s been back in training a few weeks now but I’ve no idea how far along he is. Can anyone update please

I was hoping that he would get an outing against Southampton tbh but not sure if he is still injured?

Imo he has huge potential and I would love to see him do it for lfc. Could be the replacement for Endo when he moves on and possibly the guy that is there to give Gravenberch a break when required (or play alongside him)
