    Liverpool vs Chelsea (H)

    Saturday 1230 KO at home

Will Klopp give the standout failures of the Brighton match a start or does he stick with the better players in last nights match?

    Ali
    TAA Matip Konate Robbo
    Naby Bajetic or Fab Thiago
    Elliot Mo Gakpo
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Nunez should be fit for this game?

If so i'd start him in place of Mo

Same midfield as last night. Only concern is that Thiago has played a lot of games(for him) in a relatively short period of time

Well, I hope Hendo doesn't get off the bench for this one, he isn't really doing anything on the pitch anymore. I love the guy, appreciate the player he was but he can't play this expansive style anymore.

      Alisson
      TAA - Matip - Konate - Robertson
      Keita - Fab - Thiago
      Salah - Darwin - Gakpo

But I'd be tempted to put Bajcetic in but maybe he doesn't have the fitness just yet. Matip was given the run around last time out, but he might help us keep possession. If we start Hendo, we need to play Gomez behind him.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

If we start Hendo, we might as well not care who starts behind him or in front of him.

Has to be Naby and Bacjetic next to Fab or Thiago. Then bring Hendo in on 70 minutes.
        One tit for another.

Either Fab or Hendo. You cant play both together. But bet your arse Klopp will play all the family favourites.

Salah should be dropped too in Nunez is back. Give the little prick a wake up call.

Bajcetic has to start for me. He got swallowed up at City last month which would be a concern against top midfielders like Kovacic, but we were so much better with his legs in there last night and he's earned a start I think. Fab and Hendo both need to sit on the bench for a few weeks, at least.

            I'd go:

            Ali

            TAA
            Gomez
            Konate
            Robbo

            Bajcetic
            Keita
            Thiago

            Elliott
            Salah
            Nunez

It’d be a great show of faith from Klopp for the young fella

                Salah

I know he was good last night, but I'd be worried about Gomez at CB. Still Matip for me.

                Agree on the rest though.

Worried about Murdyk up against Trent. Hate playing against new players making their debuts (e.g. Isaak earlier this season) as they always seem to score.

I would like to see Bajcetic, Thiago and Keita, but I don't think it will happen, not for favoritism reasons but fitness, Bajcetic was down with cramp at the end last night and Keita played 90mins for the first time in who knows how long, I suspect might see 2 games in a week as too much...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's 18 though, he'll shrug cramp off no bother by Saturday surely?

Anyway I agree Klopp will still likely revert to his tried and trusted (and failing) midfield

Wouldn't play TAA. He has to learn that, unless he applies himself better, he has reached his ceiling and (because he has been found out) is now on the way down.

imo that is exactly the team we will go with if Nunez is fit. Bajcetic looked really good but it is too small a sample size to know if he is ready to be a regular starter but it certainly was am impressive display and more than what we have seen from Hendo & Fab put together.... yeah **** it start him instead of Fab!! I'm not a huge fan of Keita but he recycles the ball so much better than Hendo and at least he keeps it moving even if he is weak and slow.

I think it is important that Klopp is willing to drop "main stay" players that just aren't doing it. A message needs to be sent, listen if you're not busting a gut then you can **** off and warm that bench. I didn't expect us to beat Wolves yesterday with that side but I was wrong & the attitude and effort was brilliant and refreshing to see.

At one stage I never wanted Gomez playing RB for us ever again but tbh I'd have no qualms with dropping Trent and either Gomez or Milner playing there.

                              What's happened to Ramsey?
