It was a **** pass to him by Mo. Its such a simple little ball, all he needs to do is roll it into his path and he plays it to where he already is.

8th playing 10th so pretty much is that.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The forward line is ravaged by injuries so let's park that for the moment, I can understand why that looks like it does.

The defence is weak - Robertson has been off form for a while, Milner is about 95 and there's no way Joe Gomez should be in that back four, he's been dreadful since his last injury.

The midfield is where we have the biggest problem though. Bajetic is still learning his trade. Keita in all his time for us has been adequate at best, and at his worst woeful, and he's not even going to be here come the summer. Thiago is a luxury in a three man midfield where there is no enforcer. It's paper thin, doesn't contribute enough going forward and plays very little part in defence. It's a horror show at the moment. Good thing Chelsea are **** too.

When the forwards are back from injury and Van Dijk back in defence I'm hoping that will help but I don't see where we're going to go with that midfield.

Its not that bad TBh; but team seems very disjointed.

Looking at the midfield, i think we are trying to find a '3' that can hopefully win us mores games than lose until the end of the season.

On current form who else would you have in there?

Milner continues his usual form of, play a good game to make everyone think he's still got something to offer, then next game have an absolute stinker.

Robbo is pub league standard. He's absolutely woeful with the ball.

Mo cant shoot or dribble anymore. So you have to wonder why he's in the side.

          Elliott looks lost

Gomez is the softest CB ive ever seen. Embarrassing for him getting thrown around by a literal skeleton in Havertz.

Gakpo is trying too hard when he's got a chance. But his link up play shows signs of potential

Not sure what any of them do in training TBH. They all look totally lost.

Chelsea have carried the greater threat but they are not exactly slicing through the midfield every time they get the ball. We've played a lot worse this season, and been cut up a lot more where the defence was left to fend for itself.

Much better start to the second half so far.

Chelsea are poor as well, but were better than us by a good margin in that first half.

It's powder puff. The only player we've really got to go in therre is Fabino, but he's been off form this season, probably because he's been carrying most of that role for the last couple of seasons. He's probably shattered.

Brighton were better than us by a good margin; this game has been much, much closer.

Brighton were better than us by a wide margin. I don't share your rosy view of the relative performances in that first half at all.

Even Thiago has had a stinker in possession, we've started better at least. By that I mean we're actually trying

We weren't great but you're going on as if Chelsea played us off the park. It didn't happen.
