The result against Newcastle was great, but they were probably the better team after the red card. Even though we had a couple of well made chances to score again.

Worry about our midfield if Hendo and/or Fab are starting their 3rd game in 8 days.

On the other hand, Real Madrid’s curse on the Champion’s League has to end at some point.
They were battered at every stage of the knock outs last season and still somehow how won ffs.

I was under the impression Courtois was out injured, but he isn't ffs. He usually looks mediocre to me then like so many of them (Meslier ffs - chucks them in every week) turns into Lev Yashin v us.

They got battered in the final as well from what I can remember!

Agree with your Hendo/Fab point. Wonder if maybe he'll start one and switch them on 60, or both and bring both off on 60? Defo feels like a potential risk starting both

Yeah that’s what I mean, very much including the final!

I worry about Hendo and Fabs energy levels. Hendo’s intensity was good against Everton after having had a break. Looked off it again against Newcastle in his 2nd game in a week.

I agree with you completely Shaggy...... Was happy to get to the summer without even watching us any longer.....

Season has been a write off so far but 3 we are in the position where 3 months could make up for it all.
