    Palace vs Liverpool chat

Can’t see Gomez getting a start here but will there be mass changes? Surely Naby has to get a start after the horror show midweek. I’d also start both Nunez or Gakpo

    The Mirrors predicted line up
Predicted Liverpool Lineup (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Elliott, Henderson, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Jota.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Too early to be reading that.

I'd be surprised if both Firmino and Jota start given both are on their way back from injury and Nunez and Gakpo have been in decent goalscoring form recently. I could see Matip in for Gomez though

Nunez is a must and he and Gapko link up well

I thought this was an early kick off for some reason.

Can see some major changes coming up for this one. Wouldn't surprise me if Nat Phillips is thrown in just to shore up the defence.

It is late enough to be classified as an early Sunday kickoff

Keita and Matip in hopefully. What I'd rather see is the dropping back a little bit and playing more compact, we lack confidence, energy and ability to play high.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Keen to see how some of these guys respond to that disaster midweek. We'll see who's ready to really knuckle down and work hard to restore some pride and who's a weak link and needs to be ****ed off pronto.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Gomez out there again. Klopp loves giving people chances to redeem themselves.

Unfortunately i think Keith's been put on gardening leave until the end of the season now he's made it clear he's not signing. Same thing happened to Emre Can. So we'll see that same lame midfield with Hendo running around with his giant wobbly head yelling at people for not being able to control his **** passes and Fabinho spinning around in circles fouling anyone that gets close enough for him to clatter into.

Would love to see Salah dropped for Elliott.

Yep would make the same changes. Matip for Gomez and Keita in for one of Henderson or Fabinho.

Do have a feeling that Klopp might start Elliot and maybe Firmino though.

Think we have a really good record at Palace of late though, even during seasons where our form is patchy, and that Firmino has a good record against them also, so maybe that is in Klopp's head.

No it didn't, Can's season was ended by an injury.
Didn't happen to Gini or Mane either.

Difference with all of them is that they were regular starters and Keita isn't.

They are definitely trying to get some drama with a late night KO away at Selhurst Park. Not feeling massively confident about this one. If we play like we did first half (and specifically first half of first half) against Real then we are good enough to beat most teams in the League. Second half and we are bad enough to lose against most teams in the League.

Start like we did against Real and we could be three or four up against a weaker team.

No excuses for this one imo. Players and manager should be peed off after the Real result and looking to put down a marker after that. Plus we have a little bit of good form in the league.

Get out there, beat them. Who cares if it is a scrappy win or an empathic one. Three points is another rung up the table hopefully.

Second leg against Real is a free hit game now. We somehow pull off a miracle then great, but realistically we have no distractions from the league for the rest of the season so just focus on each PL game and go for it.

Still think we can get a Europa place with an outside chance of fourth.
