"Always" is a huge overstatement. Used to do it sometimes when he played DM but also in that role he has slotted in for the flying full back. Pros and cons to both.

Another way of looking at that is - given the non-changing factor (the ref) the Manchester clubs receive more fouls in the penalty area...That's normally the way enquiry works.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

It was a strange one. I don’t think it was a push as such, and not a penalty, but it was definitively the defender that sent Jota moving towards the other defender. But, it’s all about the movement of Jota’s left leg. Instinctively, he moved his foot towards the ball which ‘fouled’ the defender and it made the space for the shot. How much responsibility lies with the defender and how much Jota is almost indeterminable, so to go against the initial decision of no foul doesn’t seem right at all.Originally posted by Pablo View Post
Nunez's goal should have stood, Jota was shoved in the back and it actually could have been a penalty IMO.
For me, Fabinho isn't trying to injure, he's tried to drag the ball away and Lemina has caught him (and come off worse). Although he didn't have a HD slow mo.
But that's not how the ref saw it and for me, he should have sent him off. I think the yellow was a bit of a bottle job.
That’s exactly what I thought he was doing too. Not sure what the move is called but yeah you basically do a 360 while dragging the ball around with you.

It should have been Lemina who was booked, sliding in out of cntrol with studs up...
What was Fabinho supposed to do, just gloat in the ****ing air... gravity insists he must put a foot down and unfortunately Lemina has slid right through and under Fabinho.
Manc cunt ref

Lemina should have been booked, not Fabino.

Anyone notice Fabinho dropping between the CB's to build attacks? Not seen him do that in ages

Tierney is a cunt, that's a fact.
