Another way of looking at that is - given the non-changing factor (the ref) the Manchester clubs receive more fouls in the penalty area...That's normally the way enquiry works.

Nunez's goal should have stood, Jota was shoved in the back and it actually could have been a penalty IMO.

It was a strange one. I don’t think it was a push as such, and not a penalty, but it was definitively the defender that sent Jota moving towards the other defender. But, it’s all about the movement of Jota’s left leg. Instinctively, he moved his foot towards the ball which ‘fouled’ the defender and it made the space for the shot. How much responsibility lies with the defender and how much Jota is almost indeterminable, so to go against the initial decision of no foul doesn’t seem right at all.

But that's not how the ref saw it and for me, he should have sent him off. I think the yellow was a bit of a bottle job.

What was Fabinho supposed to do, just gloat in the ****ing air... gravity insists he must put a foot down and unfortunately Lemina has slid right through and under Fabinho.
