What a weird half of football. Leeds have been awful, Liverpool have been awful. Slow, ponderous affair, first goal shouldn't have stood but we'll take it and 2nd out of nothing. Can't quite understand how we are 2 up.

Goal looked fine to me - ball was kicked at TAA from close range so completely accidental.

Trent in the 'quarter back role' is interesting. Gives him the ability to walk around in small section of the pitch, although he had found space to push on on occasions, particularly with his arm. Will we see it again?

Yeah it's great to get him away from defending and play to his strengths. Many of us have been asking for something like this.

2nd goal apart, Jota has been awful (which makes bringing on Luis easier!) Hendo has been pretty poor - quite apart from anything else, I think the 'let TAA wander about officially' tactic results in more being asked of Hendo at a time he is struggling to meet existing demands. Jones hasn't been great, but christ does he get a lot of balls when already under pressure. Fab below average as usual.

One pass apart, Konate has been good. Robbo and VVD solid. Salah quiet but what a finish. Gakpo working hard but hardly touched the ball for first 20 minutes; done well after that. A few nice touches from TAA plus an assist and no blunders.
