Very inconsistent refereeing from the little I saw of the game.
I haven't seen Salah being pulled down, surprise, surprise by these coward channels. But Konate did very little hauling down. It was mostly Richarlison being a swan diving cnut as usual.

The ref and VAR actually got one thing totally right. I present exhibit A, just saw Walker's challenge on Decordiva Reed (sp.) In the other game and it was worse but still no pen.
    One tit for another.

I think that's the worst Robbo has ever played for us and he's had some absolute stinkers this season. Couldn't do a thing right.

If we're going to stick to this formation then he probably cant stay in the side. Need another left sided CB who's good on the ball, like Gvardiol.

Gvardiol has gone into the Bellingham range…… a boyhood Red and we won’t be at the table. City will buy him and sell Laporte I reckon

Colwell is a really good player and I saw us linked to Todibo from Nice by L’Equipe so the source is good……

I thought I saw Robbo start to venture in to the middle of the pitch, much the same as Trent was earlier in the season. Trent struggled and perhaps Robbo will do the same at first

What a game. First time at a game for a bit and was a whirlwind weekend.

Cork to Limerick on Saturday evening. Go to the Limerick vs Clare game at the Gaelic Grounds.

Clare won by a point and some poor man died in the stand just after the game started.

Then Limerick to Dublin that night for some sleep and onto a ferry first thing Sunday morning, Picked up at Holyhead and up to Liverpool. Had time for a bite to eat and a freshen up at my friend's apartemt in the Colonades.

Then off to the game with the ****ing lunatics that is Michelle and her match buddy Bob. 90 minutes plus time added on of Michelle's thinking she is coaching the team and her roaring at opposition players. Spurs pull three goals back and she is baying for London blood and still convinced we are having them.

Turns out her never quit, never take a step back mentality (why I love her to death) is right.

Winner goes in and the Kop ****ing explodes. Michelle busy roaring at Richarlison and informing him how did he like that in colourful terms. The fact he cannot hear her does not come into it.

Match ends, some banter, some hugs and then off like a pair of banshees on the M62 as Michelle is giving me a lift to Manc airport so I can catch the flight to Cork. Master Of Puppets blasting up the M62, **** yeah Strut around Manc airport in a Liverpool top, get on the plane. In Cork airport car park by 10pm or so.

My Cork lift (Michelle's sister) tells me that SoHo is closing (new owners coming in but the open air roof top bar will not be reopening so get dragged into SoHo and up to Perch ( the roof top bar in SoHo). On fumes at this point but rude not to say goodbye to Perch or that is how I rationalised it. George Thorogood is playing at some point causing a singalong and the ordering of bourbon, scotch and beer for a lot of people happens.

Had to then spend the night in Douglas to the east of Cork city as my jaded carcass ended up there with no way home to North county Cork unless I wanted to get gouged for a 50km trip by a taxi charging gone midnight prices with a bank holiday top up

Then up early this morning, taxi from Douglas to Parnell Place bus station in Cork city, 7:25 bus up the N20 to Mallow, then get a taxi from there (next spot would have been closer to harder to get a taxi), home by 8:40, shower, some porridge, and now waiting for my ****ed up body to conk out as pushed things a tad

Might feel like death today, but if you feel like death if means you ain't dead.

After listening to Drury on Optus sports for the past 5, 6, 7 whatever many years, I'm now having to suffer skysports and finally got to listen to tyler and neville. They should seriously not be doing liverpool matches. I dont understand. Considering they're both UTD fans, why do they even agree to do liverpool? There were plenty of big teams playing they could go do.

No surprise that the ref that hates us with a passion gets twice the mount of our games now that Webb is in control.

You are not telling me thats a coincidence.....

thrown in the fact he is ****ing incompetant & what hope is there.

**** me a billion $$ sport reliant on people not fit to do their job & don't even get me started on VaR; WHAT THE ACTUAL ****!!!

Which channel does he commentate on? I watch more iptv now than Sky or BT Sports due to the standard of commentary and shoehorning of women into the men's games.

What about the men on the women’s games? Adults covering youth football? Humans commentating on the horse racing. Don’t get me started on Robot Wars.

                            Surely we need some consistency?

In terms of the performance, was great to be at the game, it’s so different than being on here reading about all the half baked tacticalmoans and groans () just enjoying the sporting contest.
Also a treat getting to see Spurs go full Spurs

The pluses, Diaz, first start and his movement and attitude make a huge difference. Hope he has no after effects from that tackle, he was definitely less influential after it. Gakpo, looks a player and that front three could be incredible with a decent midfield behind it.

We started (obvs) very strong. We looked like we could score at will. Fabinho was getting so much space and time on the ball.

The worries for me are the formation. It doesn’t quite work. Robbo is being sacrificed to protect Trent. Robbo was solid for 25 mins or so, then got caught in possession 3 times when Spurs went to 2 up front, which was part of the momentum shift. Look at the positions of the back 3 on Kanes goal. All over the place. Trent clearly has a future in midfield, but we aren’t tactically astute enough to cover him without and particularly with Elliot as one of the three - bright but lightweight. I’d say we’d need to play 3CBs - but we then lose Robbo raids down the left….

The other big worry was Nunez. He was awful. The ball just bouncing off him, clueless in possession. Just everything up too early for headers, can’t pick a pass in attack. Rank. He has regressed as the season has gone on and needs a strong pre-season. He is 5th choice up front now. Rumours that his comms are miles off as he doesn’t speak English well yet fit, but he needs to kick on in a big way.

Anyway, it was all about the last few mins, was absolutely the most depressinglypredictable thing ever to see Richarlison score and I was set to accept the 3-3 we’d barely created anything second half. To witness the raw euphoria of their equaliser right in front of us and to then steal the win a minute later was sooooooo sweet. The atmos was incredible. Is out crippled the guy next to me landing on his ankle . It’s the best way to win.

Had no idea how Jotas goal came about so seeing Lucas Mouras assist made some sense of it all this morning.

Ref was awful all game. They got FK ever time they hit the deck, and the treatment Salah gets is just baffling (he was good first half also in that 3).
