Her match buddy Bob she met through happenstance as he has been going to Anfield for seven decades now and now he is part of her match day crew and vice versa after she got her spot on the Kop seven years ago. Real old school born in Vauxhall and still in Vauxhall scouser that man is. A real gent with great tales to tell about the club and city.

Shaggy was there was he? That ****er has a bout against me scheduled as per the boxing thread.

If I knew he was there I could have sorted him out around Concert Square before I went on to Manchester two minutes later.

Was a cracking game as where I was sat was very much a no moaner zone (again that is probably the Michelle effect and her wild eyes scaring folk ) so when Spurs scored, then scored again and then scored again the mood around me was one of defiance rather than deflation.

I love being at games though be it at Anfield, the Gaelic grounds or Thomond up in Limerick or at Turners Cross or Musgrave Park down here in Cork. I kick, head and puck every ball/sliotar and generally have a great time getting sucked into the spectacle. Very much a if I cannot compete myself then I am channelling what I wish I could do and every gram of wanting to win into my watching of the game.

I'm the same if I turn up at any of my old ABCs or go to an amatuer tournament, I will the the guy who at some point is throwing short punches or hooks if I am ringside whilst wishing I could be doing what the guy or girl I am supporting is doing.

Then the final whistle or bell goes and a switch goes off and I go back to being mellow.
I was there too - waited an hour in the Asda carpark on Utting Ave - you were a no show

Also a treat getting to see Spurs go full Spurs

The pluses, Diaz, first start and his movement and attitude make a huge difference. Hope he has no after effects from that tackle, he was definitely less influential after it. Gakpo, looks a player and that front three could be incredible with a decent midfield behind it.

We started (obvs) very strong. We looked like we could score at will. Fabinho was getting so much space and time on the ball.

The worries for me are the formation. It doesn’t quite work. Robbo is being sacrificed to protect Trent. Robbo was solid for 25 mins or so, then got caught in possession 3 times when Spurs went to 2 up front, which was part of the momentum shift. Look at the positions of the back 3 on Kanes goal. All over the place. Trent clearly has a future in midfield, but we aren’t tactically astute enough to cover him without and particularly with Elliot as one of the three - bright but lightweight. I’d say we’d need to play 3CBs - but we then lose Robbo raids down the left….

The other big worry was Nunez. He was awful. The ball just bouncing off him, clueless in possession. Just everything up too early for headers, can’t pick a pass in attack. Rank. He has regressed as the season has gone on and needs a strong pre-season. He is 5th choice up front now. Rumours that his comms are miles off as he doesn’t speak English well yet fit, but he needs to kick on in a big way.

Anyway, it was all about the last few mins, was absolutely the most depressinglypredictable thing ever to see Richarlison score and I was set to accept the 3-3 we’d barely created anything second half. To witness the raw euphoria of their equaliser right in front of us and to then steal the win a minute later was sooooooo sweet. The atmos was incredible. Is out crippled the guy next to me landing on his ankle . It’s the best way to win.

Had no idea how Jotas goal came about so seeing Lucas Mouras assist made some sense of it all this morning.

Ref was awful all game. They got FK ever time they hit the deck, and the treatment Salah gets is just baffling (he was good first half also in that 3).

          YNWA
Two players, two very different views. A large dose of favouritism mixed in there.

Robbo was absolutely ****e dude. Take the scotch coloured specs off. He was utterly ****ing abysmal defensively and gave the ball away all game and was out of position constantly and having to scramble back. To top it off he's giving it to young Jones for having the gall to misscontrol one of his **** passes and make him scramble back? Top quality leadership there. Just like Hendo barking at people when he's the one that lost the ball. If youre going to through the word "regressed" around for anyone then Robbo's a prime candidate. He's been incredibly poor in far too many games this season.

Did you see the passes that were getting played to Nunez FFS?? They were bloody hoofing the ball at him or just punting it over the top expecting him to outrun 3 defenders. He wasn't great, but the service to him really did him no favours. We'd completely lost control of the game by that stage and our midfield was in panic mode. Mo and Jota couldn't hold the ball up either FWIW.

What a crazy match that was. My big take away is that our defence still really doesn't know what it's meant to be doing. Klopp has a lot of work to do in the summer.

No, I thought Robbo was poor also. I don’t think he has a future if we stick with that formation. He was right in front of us. When we were on top, first 20 mins he was good. After that really poor. We were scoring players on the way home Robbo was bottom fwiw. BUT - LCB is not his position and if he is also supposed to provide an attacking outlet he has no chance.

But so was Nunez. Even when he had the ball on possession his touch, ability to see a pass was awful. He may have been trying too hard but he did not affect the game positively (other than his unquestionable attitude) at all. I have no ace to grind against Nunez, I want him to do well but he is miles off it currently. 5th choice, arguable 6th on merit.

Salah played well, particularly first half - and could not buy a free kick. Jota other than the goal was also poor.

You effing bum. Trying to change the fight schedule eh?

The fight club listing for my next five fights were clearly put up in the boxing forum and the five bums that I am to murder, and in order of their destruction are

                  Shaggy in Manchester

                  Weggie Gun in Glasgow

                  Joshua in London

Fidget in the car park of some Motorway services.

                  Perkins outside his caravan.
It clearly states you are "fight" four.

Then Zapater is to take out the same five bums before setting up the EST title bout.

But if you want to be messed up a bit sooner, I will possibly be over for Frankie Goes To Hollywood in a week and a bit.

Piss poor clan gathering if there are only two Celts in it. Three if I brought Michelle along to up our numbers.

We would have bums like Fidget, Shaggy and co making up the numbers. Emphasis on Fidget when calling anyone a bum.

We're in a position to choose how we consume the content we enjoy. You can go to the cinema to watch a film or wait til it's released digitally and watch on your phone. You can listen to linear radio or do playlists on a streaming service. If there are options to watch sports with the sort of commentary and presentation I prefer then I will.

It should not be anything shocking that I don't care who narrates youth games or WSL considering I never watch a single minute of said games. That's all it is, it's no bigger than that.

Othe than the Optus Sport channels in Australia, I'm not sure if he gets beamed on another channel.
