Maybe we’ll cope, hopefully we’ll do better than that.
We’re still weaker without Salah though.

Hopefully wrwe can come flying out of the blocks and beat chelsea and Newcastle away from home. If we can then momentum could be brilliant.

If we start like last season, then we are ****ed

Yep, needs to be a strong start to challenge. Need to rack up, what, 10 wins in a row and hope City have Euro glory hangover.

Still feels like we need a 'marquee' signing. We are scrapping around for bargains and looking at value, finding it also. But, it feels to me like we need a VVD type statement signing as well.

I feel like a strong start is absolutely essential for us given we will still be mentally fragile after last season. If we start slow it could be another disappointing season.

So that fixture list is a kick in the teeth to be honest.

As for a "marquee" signing I agree but it is absolutely not on the cards.

To be fair, if we'd have signed Mac Allister from Inter Milan for £70m based on how he's played for Brighton and his performances in the WC, we'd be calling him our marquee signing.

Wouyld love one, but even if we did not but instead topped up the squad with three to five additions that are of the quality of Thuram, MacAllister, Kone, NDicka etc I would be delighted.

Bring in enough guys like that who are hungry to make the next step up in their career and that have the running and agreesion to go with their skills and we should see a big improvement on last season.

Would certainly remove that soft centre we have developed in the middle and at the right side of defence.

Remove that soft centre and we are pushing the ball into the other team's final third far more than we did this season.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

People banging on about the potential lack of star signings have to remember that Klopp's system elevates those that play to its strengths. I'd rather have 3 players perfectly suited to Klopp's system than even two Bellingham's that might not (assuming he can't for my example).
