Yeah... need some stability from a proper DM. Not sure Macca or Ryan are the answers to that.

We look shaky against average sides. I think City or other top sides will cause our backline real problems.

Was one of his worst games, but still thought he was one of the best players on the pitch, which says all you need to know about him.

His free kicks were **** though.

Think if we had a prime Fabinho in midfield then both MacAllister and Szoboaslai would be unreal.

Maybe when Bajcetic gets 100% full fitness then he can be that missing piece

Having said that, Jones very good again today too

He looks a potential worldie, so we'll rounded and a great attitude.

It's a good thing Gerrard wasn't around for Klopp. Gerrard had too much sway and I don't think he'd have liked what Klopp would of done.

Gerrard was **** as a DM. He shoulda played a false nine role. Either way he was going downhill by then.. i think a clean break may have helped the team by not having him overshadow Klopp.

His recent comments about Rodgers were interesting, how he would have endured another 5 months of him if it meant playing for Klopp and also how he still believed he was our best midfielder when Rodgers told him he'd be a squad player, before moving to MLS.
Well he wasn't a sound success in the MLS, struggled in a lower paced environment, maybe Rodgers had a point as I don't think Gerrard could have done Klopps pressing at that stage of his career.

We love to compare players so I’ll say he looks like he could be close the number 8 before our last one….
