Reckon it’s more that nobody had heard of him. Of course that doesn’t mean he can’t turn out to be brilliant. But it explains the sense of being underwhelmed, for those who may feel that way.

Yeah I love the Doors but I don't find them that widely known - well not apart form the really obvious tracks.
