So I just rewatched the last half hour when Endo came on & watched him in particular. He won 4 challenges , lost 2 but one was not entirely his fault & gave away 2 free kicks ( 1 at the edge of the box & the other up field ). Considering all things & not least that we were down to 10 men I think he did a good job.

He's obviously a good player. But not all good players can hack the premier league and every other hanger-on competition week in and week out. I've noticed that half our season is being played in December, for instance. Stamina required.

I said he's average. I think he is. He's come from a league that is worse than ours, plays in a relegation team and is 30. Average isn't ****, but he's never going to be peak fabinho. If he can give some balance to the midfield and plugs some gaps, then that's great. Let's not pretend we've unearthed some hidden gem.

Too early to say but hasn't been a good start. Definitely concerning. Hasn't looked good with or without the ball. His mobility hasn't looked good and looks awkward with the ball stuck between his feet. Confident he'll settle and improve but think we definitely need one more in.

He's had a difficult start, first game he hadn't trained with team mates for more than a day and comes on into a side a man down, today he starts but we lose our captain and probably one of the players he would be looking to for some direction in how to play and are down to 10 men again. Add to that it was always going to take time to bed in it's way too early to say anything about him
