So calm and composed in midfield. Just doing what he does every week and gets better and better. Who would have thought after his first season we’d be here. Show the type of mentality he has.

It’s hard to judge him on his performances last season because he was never given a consistent run in the team. He had some good games but then was out of the team straight away but then would come back in and have an average game and not do much. I don’t remember him coming off the bench and changing things but did have some good games where he started. He also never played 90 minutes if I remember right, he was always subbed off.

He was average, yes. Didn't shine at anything but was too young to write off. He's shown a very different skill set this year that none of us could see prior.

He actually played quite well when he first came into the club and scored a few goals. He wasn’t **** at all, it was always clear he had talent but not clear he’d end up being an incredible defensive mid

Not me, I thought this summer he’d be off to Lazio on loan He had an unbelievable first half to the season and he faded as he got overplayed and teams figured him out a bit.

If you press him he’ll kill you with a turn and get away from you but if you stand off him he’s not as effective. He’s still very young and he will learn and get better.

I would still like a more defensive forward passer in the midfield rotation (hello Adam Wharton ) and that would give Grav even more freedom to get around the pitch. I’d also like him to use his size more and over power opponents. I want a lot but he’s got the talent to be the very best
