Confidence being added to the talent that was already there. A potent mix.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

That’s the guy he gets compared to, Pogba was super talented but he never fulfilled his potential. Grav was going that way when he was bombed out of Bayern so let’s hope he actually lives up to his potential with usOriginally posted by The_weatherman View PostHe can become a real monster of player, reminds of Pogba a bit.

I think much of Pogba’s issue was he started believing his own hype - seemed more interested in his ‘image’ than improving as a footballer.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostThat’s the guy he gets compared to, Pogba was super talented but he never fulfilled his potential. Never doubted him"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Amazing what happens when he actually plays in a proper midfield formation rather than everyone chasing the ball around like dogs.
This player was always there, he showed signs constantly. Just wasn't used correctly."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Not sure it is so much a transformation as it is an evolution.
He looked a really good midfielder as a teenager, he got his move to Bayern where he never looked bad but was used in a few roles and not really ever developed in a set role.
He moved to us and last season it was a bit like his time at Bayern, not really ever getting a run in one position or his form from his time at Ajax being built upon.
From this pre season on and for whatever reason, he has been trusted in one role, and that confidence shown in him seems to have boosted his own confidence.
Think what often gets overlooked with him is his age.
The guy only turned 22 in the summer. Quansah who we call a kid and say should be given time is only 7 months or so younger than him.
Guy has been great this season and looks like the talent that was being raved about for years is starting to show.
What is really funny about him though is that Tugs Hard is the manager that gave him his break at Ajax and was the manager who, before Slot, showed the most faith in him. Gravenberch then gets to be the one ex Ajax player that Tugs did not buy
