It's incredible really. After all the (justifiable) wailing and gnashing of teeth about not buying a 6, this was an absolute masterstroke. Even if we hadn't won the league but had had a good season, Slot would have had a decent amount of credit in the bank for this move alone. He seriously needs a rest though. I agree completely. He’s been showing signs of weariness for a while now but turned up big time yesterday. I think yesterday showed somewhat what Slot sees in him and what he brings over say Endo. Gravenberch isn't an out and out destroyer like Endo is he has more to his game such as the ability to carry the ball forward which is quite significant for our attacking play as well as the defensive work he does. We undoubtedly need to give him more rest going forward but that involves changing the style of play or at least limiting ourselves in how we play...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

I think like Szoboszlai, his form suffered in the back end of the season from being overplayed. Very good again at the weekend though, also like Szoboszlai.
He's been a revelation on the whole, I just hope we can manage his playing time more next season..
