Is a competition that we have had many great nights in, and one that Klopp has not won.
Would treat it with an equal level of importance as the league this season as winning it is a direct route into the CL. I see those competitions as the ones I want to see us do best in this season.
Domestic cup runs can be for the squaddies and the youth players.
The group we are in also gives us the luxury of going strong enough in terms of team selection to try and win the first three games then rotate much more heavily for the final three games as we have games against Arsenal, Man U, Man City, and Brentford close to those EL games as well as the fixture list being more congested at that time.
The weaker group also gives us a chance to play squaddies alongside established starters to get the former more up to speed with playing alongside the latter in competitive games.
Plus making the final means the game is local (well local as in a few hours via motorway) if tickets can be got.
Have dreams of the Irish ESTers outside the ground going "mind your car for a fiver, mate?" and in the days that follow, tales of how non Irish ESTers were mugged in the Templebar area by Perkins and his trackie crew
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Probably a mix with players like VVD alongside Quansah. Darwin and Jota and Doak in attack and have a mixed bench as well so we can give the youngsters some game time if possible or the more experienced players if we need it. I imagine Elliot and Endo both play but do we play Alexis, Bajcetic or Gravenberch with them.
