Poor half but many players don't have many minutes in their legs and it shows. I thought Diaz was also pish. Too many players trying to make an impression and playing awful as a result.

He’s not, but he’s had a bad game, as have most, but it’s weird how he can’t stay on his feet. Their right back has dealt with Diaz too easily, Doak has been garbage. We should be playing 4-4-2 here imo, we’d have so much more of the ball and have time to work a pass forward. The three being used in midfield aren’t comfortable enough under pressure and both fullbacks are having stinkers. It’s not done well.

I don’t think slow would be a problem if we were controlling the ball 20/30 yards further forward (which a midfield four would give us). We should be able to work this lot at walking pace but it’s all falling apart 40 yards away from their goal or down the wings.

Doak will be garbage ina second string, needs minutes playing with a 1st string and not 11 changes

He was the unsung hero against Wolves IMO. Made a huge difference when he came on and a great player. Also a huge reason why we were **** last year when he was injured.
