If we win this then I think we’re actually in a title race.

It is a bit more defensive, but it would be nice to keep a clean sheet for a change.

Not sure extra forward is a bit more defensive to be honest!!!

Lol, fair point - swap Gakpo for Macca in that case. I’d just like to see how Gakpo would fair with two more creative DMs behind him.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Seen some videos on Twitter, the harmony in squad seems just fantastic! No mean feat given the rotation needed.
          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Will be interesting to see if Nunez starts this game. I think he will (as he didn't start v Leicester) but a year ago either Gakpo or Jota would have led the line for their pressing game.

                Nunez as impact sub.

We do have an incredibly strong bench these days.

Quality in every area if needed.

                      No Darwin?

Thought he'd be perfect for this game. Surely Spurs will attack leaving pace to run into?

                      Anyway, what do I know.

A win to go top of the League. City lose in the League for the first time in living memory.

City and Arsenal play each other next also. We shouldn’t require any more motivation.

A win to go top is where we usually mess up tho, the pressure gets to us. Maybe playing away will be beneficial in this scenario, less angst from the crowd.

Nunez has a knock from international break which flared up, according to Klopp so not fit enough to start
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Possibly, but I don't remember this happening recently.

The last two times we went toe to toe with City, neither teams ever lost. They just dont drop points.

It's a tough game, but a big opportunity. Are Spurs better, or have they just got a better manager and a less toxic environment.

I think he has given them belief and we all know what a team can do when they have that.
