Thanjk you.

The red card will do Jones some good. He's probably played too much football anyway. An enforced rest and he can keep himself ticking over with Europe League football.
He blows hot and cold in his general play, but he’s the man for a classy finish.
Great save Allisson.
He's super-clinical and does a lot of un-eye-catching pressing across the board. He does blow hot and cold sometimes but I'd say the whole outfied team does that pretty much without exception. I think a lot of the blame for that comes down to the system. It still doesn't really work for me.

I'd play him down the middle and get him around the goal as much as possible. He has good flashes of interplay with team mates down the line, but most of the time it seems to end with a loss of possession.

That could work. Especially as I'm more and more seeing Nunez as a sub, coming on to scare tiring opponents with his pace in the last 20 minutes of matches.
The level of opposition in the Europa is ****ing dire, TBF its like playing league one fodder, hopefully when the CL 3rd place comes in it gets better but the quality on show tonight was ****e.
If this was the teams from start to finish we would walk this, easily with the second team.

I'm not necessarily arguing he should start in place of somebody else, just that when on the pitch I think he should be playing down the middle. His biggest strength is his finishing so it seems logical to place him where he can make the most of that strength. His dribbling is extremely inconsistent and he isn't a speed merchant, so is a bit of a square peg in a round hole when being asked to play on the flank.
I didn't see the game tonight, but I gather from the comments we were electric and could have won 9-0 but for some extraordinarily lucky goal-keeping from whoever they are and whoever they have in goal. Correct?
