I wonder if the primary referee should be in the VAR room rather than on the pitch. I mean that seems to be the way it going. Either way, I'm done with it. I always thought it would be great but the last few weeks have changed my mind. If the folks in the room can't be trusted then there is no point.Really?

Going back to the red card controversy, I’ve seen it mentioned that it wasn’t given as VAR didn’t think Dom was denied a clear goal scoring opportunity as he was moving away from goal. Absolute bull****, look at this still - keeper is miles out of position. Dom would be rolling that into an empty net if he wasn’t dragged down.
The game is goneLast edited by rudedog; 09-10-23, 11:31 PM.

What about the Brighton player covering the goal line? I thought the defender had to be the last man for it to be a red. Arguable, but don't think he was.
I'm wrong.. feck me, that's another shocking oversight.
DENYING A GOAL OR AN OBVIOUS GOAL-SCORING OPPORTUNITY (DOGSO)
Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball or a challenge for the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.), the offending player must be sent off.Last edited by BG1973; 10-10-23, 04:10 AM.

The ball is running away from him because he's being pulled back and that's a factor FFS?

He gets to the ball, it's in the net given the position of the GK and defender that's as clear as dayLast edited by Exiled_red; 10-10-23, 06:00 AM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

And they always make the narrative that is the worst for Liverpool. Always. Salah gets fouled in the area, not enough to over turn. A City player falls down in the area, well there was contact and it was enough.Originally posted by S-RED View Postthey make it up minute by minute to suit the narrative.
Bin it the **** off now
Jota makes two fouls, yellows both time, what are we arguing about? Kovacic makes two red tackles, not enough for the ref.One tit for another.
