As unbelievably bad as this decision was, the defence it got from 'expects' was mind blowing.

Mo gets totally assaulted every game and not only does he not get the fouls, he's forever labelled a diver.

Today is anniversary of the beachball too. Honestly feels like we play a different sport to other teams in the league.

The ‘Lovren should know you can’t touch the striker in the box’ analysis was biased horse****.

      Alisson

      TAA - Konate - VVD - Kostas

      Szobo - Endo - Grav

      Salah - Nunez - Diaz

Depending on fitness, maybe Jota and Matip in. Don't really have a lot of other options I think. Maybe Gomez at left back.
Yep I went with the same but just wondering if Joe gets in in place of either of the fullbacks. TAA played one on the internationals & Timmy played both. In saying that they both haven’t played much lately whereas Joe has. Possibly up to the sport’s science department to decide.

The South American sides need to sort their **** out. Its absolutely ridiculous they are always the last to play their games when most of them all play their club football in Europe

I wish we just sat in for the first 20-30 mins and figure them out. Got 90 mins to win a game and we will end up a goal down in that first 20 as usual

Drop Dom in next to Mac, Mo and Diaz drop in. We've seen how difficult we can be in a low block with 9-10 men, not sure why we don't try it more often especially with our pace on the counter.

I'd like to see Gravenberch, Szoboszlai and Mac Allister in midfield, keep possession and progress with the ball - I don't think we need a defensive midfielder against these clowns.

It's a pity that they have turned their form around a bit. A month ago, they were really ****e.

Another 1230 kick off post international break is total bull**** too. **** sake. Between that ****e (man City next month as well) and the officials at spurs, you just know it will cost us at the end of the year.

Dyche will be looking to make a good start to the game i think. Will probably get into us early and target MacAllister as well as both our full backs so we need to be alive from the off.

A good win would be brilliant here. Lay down a marker of sorts and then hopefully we can watch Brighton do something v City as well as Chelsea and Arsenal kick lumps out of each other

id go a bit bold, Gomez at Rb and push TAA in midfield alongside Sbloz and Gravenbach - Stick Maca
on the bench as he played at 3am UK time Thursday morning.

I’m game if you are ? I think we start with Timmy as it’s been a long time since Joe played LB

I'd play Jota (instead of Nunez). Dom as centre mid with Elliott and Grav either side.
                      Another MASSIVE game

Would go the other way and start Nunez and have Jota as his sub or as the sub for Diaz.

Course if Diaz is unable to start then we need Jota for the left wing as Gakpo is out.

This is the game for TAA at no.6 with Szob and Gravenberch either side. Mac can come on 2nd half and Diaz too.

                          Alisson
                          Gomez, Konate, VVD, Tsimikas
                          Szob, TAA, Gravenberch
                          Salah, Nunez, Jota

Id worry a bit about TAA playing there. He loses his man all the time at RB.

Maybe a focus on a purely defensive role might work better?

I dont think the inverted role is working very well, but TAA is a fantastic player. I wished we would go back to his role from the previous 6 seasons, where he pushed us to glory. Its not like he suddenly got found out. The whole midfield collapsed on front of him last season, and I think he was still a bit knackered too.Klopps original idea was tactically sound.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
