So that’s the first time a player has been sent off against us for 2 yellows since Mane was when playing for Soton. Weird that that stat was aired a few weeks ago.

I thought that was Elliott, regardless it was an excellent ball. I thought Mac Allister played very well today and some of his passing was sublime.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostAnd MacAllister‘s ball to Nunez from the edge of the box for the goal was quality. Was muß, das muß.

There were quite a few from distance, and can't really remember Pickford having to make many saves before added time, so I don't think it's that clear cut, I saw the xG was about 2.5Originally posted by spud_gun View Post77% possession

That's a batteringThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Probably just did it today so that those types of stat aren't out there for a while so they can keep us quiet for a whileOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostSo that’s the first time a player has been sent off against us for 2 yellows since Mane was when playing for Soton. He’s had an impact off the bench every game this season. Doing a good job in that role.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostHarvey did good and should probably have started really.
With all the talk about the red for Everton don’t forget Ashley Young should have had a second yellow before when he kicked the ball away when Diaz was about to take a quick thrown in. The inconsistency with the yellows for kicking the ball away this season is ridiculous.

So perhaps the referee did show the common sense the commentators were calling for...Originally posted by peterbread View PostHe’s had an impact off the bench every game this season. Doing a good job in that role.

But I do agree at the lack of consistency for these things, being applied, it seems often they are happy to give these as a first yellow, but very few are willing to give 2nd yellows for kicking the ball away or brandishing imaginary yellow cards...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Every game he comes o he seems like he has a point to prove. One of the best from the benchOriginally posted by Maxiedge View PostHe was excellent but I’d still argue that he’s always been best coming off the bench. Maybe the first half physical nature of the game is less suited to him?_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
