                        It was solid, but they were poor. We seem to struggle to get into top gear a bit. Should have scored 2-3 more imho.

                        I guess we have a lot of new players still bedding in, but I cant help feel once we start clicking better we will start to smash other teams.The potential is all there

                              I hate the 'they were poor' arguments.

                              Forest beat us last year and give us a tough game at Anfield. We totally dominated them today and beat them in 2nd gear. They weren't poor, we were just so much better.
                              If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                                City last the season by playing within themselves and having something in reserve. We've seen some of our players appear burnt out, and even though we finish seasons strongly it tends to be mental strength carrying us forward to strive for a European place when it looks lost. By conserving energy we'll be stronger mid season, will win more, and we'll be in a stronger position to push for the title instead of pushing for 4th
