Yeah I hate Jota out left. So much play breaks down with him there.

Darwin is better thasn him on the left, but I hate Darwin starting a game and not being in the central slot.


Gakpo I am comfortable with on the left and think we need to use him more like the Dutch do when he starts there. He was brilliant from there some weeks back against Ireland.

He went from staying out wide to coming infield to be the link between the overlapping left back and the CMs. CMs then made advanced runs past him and he would thread balls forward to them.

Then would the next moment drift back out wide and it made it very difficult for any player to try and mark him without being dragged out of position.
