            We've been saying this for years. The drop off in quality from the first 11 is massive. I don't know whether that's a player quality issue or a problem with our system and the way it's drilled but it has a big effect over a long season.

                In the past I always thought it was rotation. Players get used to playing with each other. The more changes you make, the more the rhythm get's upset. Always thought that under Rafa.

                          I think it's the system and the over reliance on it. Trying to shoehorn players into the rigid format isn't ideal.

                                I agree with this. And it needs tons of practice, all together. Doesn't lend itself to dipping in and out.
