Very good result that. Despite our usual slow start we really started to control it better in the second half. Defensively we look a bit more together, Tsimikas looks like he's getting used to playing again and Nunez worked tirelessly and got every shot on target. Excellent team performance.

Mo got the 2 goals, but I think Virg was outstanding at the back against a big and fast Brentford side, a few vital tackles, a hook of the goal line, solid in the air and some great balls out of defence. Shades the MotM for me.

Big shout out to Nunez too, unlucky to be offside for 2 nice finishes, and worked his bollocks off up front.

That one was a good tackle by endo. He is struggling generally.l rhiugg.

No it wasn't, he made several key blocks and tackles preventing the play. A little clumsy at times but he played well I thought.

A good weekend for results in what was a difficult match for us on paper. Chelsea getting the late equaliser was immense, Spurs doing a Spurs was brilliant & Newcastle feeling the strain of midweek games is what we’d all expected. And all of that without Mac, Thiago, Jones, Baj, Robbo, Grav & with our inexperienced bench

I saw that Mo got several peoples MOTM award but Dom was head & shoulders above the rest with Virg the runner up for me. Mo will rightly get the plaudits for 2 goals but what a box to box performance from big Dom.
