I see people have been complaining about Nunez but he showed good composure at the end not to blast the rebound after Gakpo’s shot and put in a good cross which in the end led to the winner.

He’s does well to hook in back in and he makes the right decision to do that rather than shoot. He’s had loads of praise for his all round play and deservedly so.

The fluffing of big chances is still a concern though.

Thats the frustration we all feel. You would expect for £90m composure would be a given.

Effort, game intelligence in making runs brilliant. And its clear him and Salah have a great understanding too.

I get that, it frustrates me too but at least he’s doing a lot of the other things he needs and is getting into the right areas to be on the end of the chances created. Hopefully he starts taking them consistently and he has improved this season. If it doesn’t come then a big question will have to be asked. But I’m confident he’ll deliver more consistently as he continues to develop.

Maybe it’s me but even when he misses I know we have so many goal scorers in this team compared to being reliant on that great front three with minor contributions from the rest of the team. And I feel this will only get better which also makes us more difficult to play against.

And has anyone else noticed that we now shoot from long range? People constantly wanted us to shoot more and it’s definitely happening now.

It’s £64m potentially rising to £85m, to be fair to him. And it’s going to take a lot of goals and some trophies to make up the difference, so fair to assume he’ll have come good if we do end up paying the full fee.

4.4million was due after 10 appearances and another 8.6million after 50 appearances.

Queef's attempt at saving the 3rd looked like one of those keepers who's on the take just making a halfhearted attempt to throw a light arm at it to not make it too obvious.

That ball was only ever going one spot and he stood there watching it and didn't move until it was basically past him.

Nunez finishing is a huge concern for me tbh. Had we dropped points today, for me a lot of that would have been on him. The 2 simple chances should have been buried. Just like at Luton where we did drop 2 points.

Kelleher will never be #1 for lfc i dont think tbh. If Becker left, then we'd definitely look to buy s top class replacement

Salah missed an equally bad sitter at the end and also didn't roll the ball to Diaz earlier for a tap in, instead blasting the ball at the keeper from a tight angle.

Nunez contributed a lot again, but yes should have probably taken one of those 2 chances. Overall though I think he did well.

Goal of the match was number 4 for me, some pressure on that and the strike was just as pure as Mac's.

I remember reading something you said before the game about being confident about a 4/5 nil win, and it’s no sleight against you mate as I expected the same, but it was a classic case of complacency imo

TBH, I think will Ali playing, it could have been 4-0. Certainly a much easier win.

I don't think we were complacent at all. We started well and looked like there would only be one winner. We were 1-0 and in control, then Matip gives the ball away cheaply catching everyone out of position and they get the equaliser thanks to poor goalkeeping. We deservedly go 2-1, but finish the half quite poorly and nearly go in 3-2 down.

But I thought the players reacted quite well, came out 2nd half and dominated, the Fulham goal was completely against the run of play. There was certainly no complacency in the last 10 mins.

There are definitely games we just don't get going and look like we are taking the result for granted, then struggle to change gears when we go behind. Complacency probably biggest issue in those games, but I honestly never had that feeling yesterday. It was just one of those mad games and won't be the only one so long as we keep playing the box formation.
