are we in danger of becoming the 10th man?

seems to be moan moan moan
    at the match
    on talk shows
    on tinternet
we're turning into the bitters slowly but surely.

last night when Pennant got injured the number of shouts thank **** for that.
same was heard for Alonso and Speedy
FFS our teams going thro a bad patch or more to the point had a difficult run of games and lost em all.
So how are we, the so called best fans in the world supporting our team, wanting them injured.
And lets see these players have been here all of 5 minutes.

Are we becomming that impatient we could start having a negative effect on the team?

Saw it with the barcodes, great support until they were challenging for the title then it got quiet.

Get the feeling fans are wishing players to fail,
Pennant does a cross - lucky ball that.
    how dare him do that

Ok they might not seem good enuff, but in the right team with support who's to say. the best most costly players don't always make the best team. Valencia and Madrid comes to mind
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I noticed a larger than normal number of moaners on Wed, and the atmosphere was a bit flat too.

I know exactly what you mean, a lot of people are waiting for certain players to **** up so you can hear the whole crowd moaning even when a pass goes just a little way astray. I remember Zenden passing out wide to Garcia and he hit it a little too sharp, Garcia angled his run away and still got to it, but not until after almost everyone had tutted and ahhhed.

      Good post.

There were some attrocious muppets on 606 on Wednesday night, really, I felt seriously embarassed by some of the **** they were coming out with, some guy was even ranting about Heskey ffs.

People have every right to be disappointed with our away form in the league, and if it continues like this for the whole season they'll have a right to complain, but the way some people have seemed to want some of our new buys to fail from the start and have even been jubliant about certain players getting injured, well it makes a total misnoma of the "best fans in the world" thing really doesn't it.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
      Mine angry and defrauded young?

Alot of people are a bit thick though. I've never been a fanof Pennants. I dont believe he's good enough for our team, but I always hope he can do something while out there. But with him injured I dont think people realise that Gerrard is definately going to go on the right again, something alot of people supposedly dont want. Think more, bitch less. Sadly those people do less thinking and more bitching.

What really annoys me is that a lot of people labled Pennant and bellamy as failiures as soon as they signed for LFC, and aren't prepared to afford them the same amount of time to get things right as other signings. Then when they have a bad game these 'fans' like to take great delight in saying told you so, as if thay are some big footballing brain because they've not been so good over the first 3 months - 3 months ffs.

They need time for it all to settle in and now with injuries it's going to be even harder, lets just give them at least till the end of the season and judge them then eh?
