Diaz is starting to fins his form again and his all round game seems to to have improved. Playing some nice passes out from left to right to open teams up a bit.

And Quansah had me thinking he was VVD at one point in the first half. He got the ball down in the LB area under pressure and kept the ball didn’t panic and then played a nice little pass into the middle to open things up. Similar calm composure and control at times.

He’s seems to have lost that ability to completely skin a player though

Also he brought Clark on with the game in the balance and had another sub so could have chosen to take off one of the youngsters for someone more experienced (e.g. take off Bradley for Robertson and move Gomez to RB). Clearly has confidence in those players a big confidence boost for Clark and Bradley in particular. Also Quansah doesn't look out of place in the side despite only having played about 10 games.
