All i want is a manager who plays attractive, attacking football and can make the most out of the players we have, rather than a complete overhaul that leaves us in the doldrums for a couple of years.

Following in Klopp's footsteps is maybe not something for a big name to take on, too much at stake for their reputations, but i lesser name, without so much expectation, is probably a more sensible step. It's like United; following in Ferguson's footsteps would have been daunting, but being the man who took over from David Moyes was an easier step.

Well, I guess on paper, he should be at least as exciting as Amorim. Both were underwhelming really, but this is how Edwards wants to build the club going forward, will be very interesting to see how it pans out. Wonder if Edwards was genuinely interested in Xabi.....

I'm trying to decide which comic book company he came from.

Is he Kingpin or Lex Luthor?

Though I did want two players from his team last summer

There are no superstar managers at the moment, other the one we have and a couple who aren’t going anywhere. No point yearning for things you can’t have.

Here's hoping Xabi hones his skills and is willing to come to us instead of Real in a season or two.

Know sweet fa about him, maybe a stop gap until someone we really want becomes available.

You can see why he's a good fit from this. Bit of a free hit, if he fails the next guy has a lot less pressure.

Need to wrap it up quickly with United, Barca, Bayern on the lookout as well as possibly Chelsea and others.

To me, it looks like we're looking at the best fit for how we play and the squad we have.

Klopp is a special case in management terms and finding another one quite like him is unlikely.
