In reality there would be a shopping list of our transfer targets and if we were given an option to get someone in, then I'm sure that we could be in the mix. Also, maybe agents are involved and the club are tipped off that Xabi likes this player...... So that could be why he is on our list......

Yea I’d tend to agree with you. I suppose it’s possible Alonso has agreed to come and given some names but it’s hush hush but I don’t think that’s likely at this stage

Tbh I’m not sure how the club sign players in time this summer. There’s a lot of recruiting to come and the parties that aren’t here yet can’t plan.

Maybe jurgen and jorg will leave a list but who knows

I like the idea of Ancelotti for 2 years while we wait to see if Xabi is the real deal but there are loads of reasons why that won't and can't happen. I guess I'd just love to have seen Ancelotti as LFC manager at some stage.

Still feels weird as heck thinking of Xabi as a manager. I've not really watched him age, he just dissapeared and came back all grown up. I've got a terrible memory for facts and figures but the feelings watching him play seem like yesterday.
