Time to get behind him and give him our backing and I know we all will.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Who gives a **** how he looks or talks if he gets results. Some of the comments here are hilarious.
You don’t even have to like someone for them to be an effective leader although it can help. Would you think that about your boss at work?
I’m just not sure about his lack of hair so I don’t think I’ll be keen on working with him. He’s Dutch and too confident for me so I’m just too underwhelmed to see this working 😂😂😂Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

The Dutch thing who knows.. our perception od Linders isn't great but Jurgen clearly loved him.
Ten Hag is the main thing driving the concern. Not that he's bald or Dutch, but that he could have been made to look better than he actually was in a **** league.
But that may just be the United effect..
We don't know so yeah lots of whelmed folks.
He seems perfect fit for me. Can use the framework of squad we have and see how that works out for a year or two by which time other options may open up.

For sure the Dutch eredivisie isn’t as good as the prem but I don’t think the ten Haag one is a good comparison because ten Haag was coaching Ajax and they are giants in that league in a way that feyenoord aren’t. Sounds like he’s built a team and broken the cycle of Ajax psv which isn’t normally seen there.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostThe Dutch thing who knows.. our perception od Linders isn't great but Jurgen clearly loved him.

Outside of that though, historically speaking, the Dutch understanding of football is arguably the best there is.
For football coaches, the argument of difference in quality of the league isn’t as relevant as it is for the players imo. The biggest difference will be just how competitive the league is in England and the number of big big games.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I think you're right. The intensity here is something else. Pretty much all tough games coming Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday... Huge media pressure, there's very little relief. Quite the step up you've got to be on it all of the time.Originally posted by Corndog View PostFor sure the Dutch eredivisie isn’t as good as the prem but I don’t think the ten Haag one is a good comparison because ten Haag was coaching Ajax and they are giants in that league in a way that feyenoord aren’t.
