I hope we can go two or three up in the first half and rest some players in the 60th minute. Goal difference will also play a part in the title race so we need to be going for that too.

No chance. Luton haven't been bashed like that by anyone, and it's not gonna happen tonight either.Originally posted by DerKrampus View PostI hope we can go two or three up in the first half and rest some players in the 60th minute. Our super power this season has been changing games from the bench. If Salah and Nunez are fit enough to play only part of the game, I think we'll probably end up needing them late on.
Luton are no pushovers.Oh I don't know.

My head totally agrees with you - they're a very athletic side and they just don't give up. If it wasn't for their cunty fans, I'd really like them to stay up.Originally posted by dom9 View PostNo chance. Luton haven't been bashed like that by anyone, and it's not gonna happen tonight either.

Yeah this, bit worried about how much football he's played since he came back.Originally posted by rudedog View PostBecause he's only just back from a long term injury and played the full 90 mins 3 days ago
Also keen for Bradley to play. If Elliott is going to play in Salah's position then Bradley's overlapping runs will be needed as it's not one of Harvey's strengths.

If salah and nunez are only fit to play a part of the game then we should start with them.
Bringing the better players on later when we need to come back from a goal or two down is plain stupid.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Look at how many games have been changed by subs this season when Plan A hasn't worked out.
Taking your best players off and replacing them with kids is a crap Plan B if it comes to it.Oh I don't know.

A reminder of the away game from a few months ago:
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLWlKdVJhmo"]Diaz scores late equaliser to deny Hatters shock win! | Luton 1-1 Liverpool | PL Highlights - YouTube[/ame]
We had 74% possession, loads of chances and we should have won comfortably.
They did cause us issues on the counter attack though, particularly Ogbene (mainly up against Trent), and their goal came from a counter attack so we will need to be wary of that.
They don't tend to throw the towel in easy either and they haven't been heavily beaten much all season.
On our day, with a full squad, I think we could put 5/6 past them at Anfield, but obviously given the circumstances any win tonight will be massive.

Their home form is much stronger than their away form, but as I said they still rarely lose by more than the odd goal.Originally posted by BigChief View PostWhat is their away record like? Are they just as robust when not on their plastic* pitch?
I know it's grass. Those who know, know.

Just had a quick check behind my fingers and thankfully they're not at all impressive away. 4-0 at Brighton, 3-1 at Villa. Even the likes of Sheff Utd, Forest and Burnley had them worried. Couldn't see City, Spurs, Arsenal in the quick look so they're in for some tough times away ahead. Relegation beckons.Originally posted by Pablo View PostTheir home form is much stronger than their away form, but as I said they still rarely lose by more than the odd goal.
Funnily enough they beat Everton and then knocked them out of the cup, both times away from home.
One tit for another.
