Yeah, looking to find a way to disallow a goal. Unreal.

Deffo looked as though they were looking for reasons to disallow the goal

In all seriousness is that a real rule? Guardian commentary said something about a Manure goal being disallowed against Fulham as Maguire was offside when he blocked off a player, but I can’t remember that

I think in the circumstance we can be proud of our performance, but we do deserve to win this. Van Dijk's 'goal' was a goal. In forty years of watching football I've never heard of a player 3 yards behind the play being ruled offside, nor blocking (except for a keeper) being an issue on a corner or free kick. An opposition player is in the way of where you want to run? Tough ****.. I often find people in my way on my way to work... so what?
              Really?

If even Neville is saying it’s a goal you know you’ve been screwed. Both the ex players saying it happens every set piece and that dick ex ref trying to justify his mates.

Our disallowed goal happens almost every week at a freekick or corner, I have never seen one of those disallowed for that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

As others have said the main issue here is consistency. If goals were disallowed for the same reason every week then I guess there'd be no argument.

I’m struggling to see us winning this now. It’s ****ing nuts. Going into Extra time in a final with…

                        Kelleher

                        Gomez Konate Virgil Tsmikas

                        Endo Clark McConnell

                        Elliot Danns Diaz

                        Modifying post.

It wasn’t even vaguely similar. Maguire was in between the shot and the keeper.

Except they aren't and we all know it.

Is blocking a player's run ever a foul? Effin ridiculous.

The Sheikhs wanted us to go through 30 more grueling minutes and the ref obliged. Helps city no end. Oh well. At least Klopp is not playing, he still rested Mac and Robbo. Good.
