    Man City at home - 10th March 2024, 15:45

Watery ****s now for the next 2.5 days.

Beat these cunts and it will be massive. Especially considering that they play Arsenal in their next league game in 3 weeks time.

Will be interesting to see who starts. I reckon Gomez wkll start in one of the full back roles considering he was taken off the other day. Maybe left back??

    Kelleher

    Bradley Konate Virgil Gomez

    MacAllister Endo Szoboaslai

    Salah Nunez Diaz

Gomez could also be at CB if Konate is injured.

    Kelleher
    Bradley Gomez Virgil Robbo
    Mac Endo Szobo
    Diaz Gakpo Nunez

Salah unfortunately will not be fit for the 90, neither will Konate, the good news will be that this will be our last league game with Jones, Trent, Ali and Grav on the injury list.
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

          Not looking forward to this.

We've been fortunate in our last few games not to concede more than we have.

Forrest and Prague both had ample opportunity to score against us and didn't.

I feel this is the game where all of our injuries and fielding patchwork teams catches up with us

              Like feck. Roll on Sunday.

These are the games that quicken the pulse and the ones that fans of other clubs wish their own team was involved in.

If one cannot dream a little brighter before these games and enjoy the what ifs, then the spontaneity of the event gets lost imo.

City are coming to Anfield, an Anfield that is going to be a wall of sound. They are coming to meet a team that looks like it wants to run through walls for the outgoing Klopp.

They are coming to take on a team being lead by a motivated Klopp. They are coming to take on a team that can take the hits, that can take the big punches and then come back swinging later on in games.

For every flaw in our team that could be pointed out, City are showing themselves to have the exact same flaws this season. If they can hurt us by targetting our perceived flaws, then we have everything we need in our team to dig into their weaknesses.

Come Sunday we are prime Marvin ****ing Hagler and we are going to win big or go out on our shields. Either way we are going to war.

Can't wait for this - Anfield will be bouncing

Do we start with all of Nunez, Salah, Diaz, Dom and look to blitz them early or save some of these players for later when the opposition starts to tire?

The last of the Klopp v Pep duels. There have been epic highs and low. When they are on top form they are so dominant and so controlling. I don't think I have ever seen a team batter us like they can.

However, we have more than held our own and when it clicks for us we are devastating and can tear them apart like no one else can.

Jaco is right, the Anfield wall of sound is EVERYTHING for this one, it is a bonafide superpower and if we are talking of watery ****s, it can be watery **** inducing for the opposition players. It is in Pep's head and inside his players too I'm sure. Anfield and our team of mentality monster's are Pep's kryptonite.

We have to go all out for the throat in this one.

I think the fa cup final could end up being the last of the klopp v pep battles tbh. Will see.

I’d start szobo, salah and Nunez.

The only real big decision regarding selection is Bradley at RB and Gomez to CB if konate is out injured.

An alternative could be quansah at CB and Gomez at right back.

That's the one for me if Ibou is out.

If Ibou is not out then I would go Bradley at RB and Gomez at LB. That way no matter what flank they put Foden on, there is a guy there that will be all over him like a rash. Just think Robertson is a little off in his fitness right now.

                          You miserable ****er

This is the game where our returning players show they have the fight and desire to out run a city side that knows it needs to win. Player performances elevated by an Anfield crowd electrified with the knowledge that this is more than football. This is good versus evil. This is the final meaningful battle and good MUST triumph.

They will not know what’s hit them.
