Arsenal have played very very well this season, but they also did the same last season to about now.

Maybe they can go a step further this year, but right now all we have to go on is that they are unproven when it comes to maintaining a winning run in.

Think Arsenal have some tougher more sapping games ahead of them thanks to the CL as you mentioned, so that might have a knock on effect too.

If they do hold out for the rest of the season, then fair dues to them, but have a feeling that they will finish third this season.

What does that mean in the context of this match? We're in a shedload of competitions, I'd expect us to be up there, we play more matches than anyone else. Our shots to hitting the target ratio in the premier league in the second half of the season isn't good enough. You have to be at least hitting the target in these kind of matches.

We scored two. That should be enough to win any match. We shouldn’t need to score 3 or 4 every game to win.

Anyway, I sense folks are getting annoyed. It’s sunny, I’m heading out for some air - we’ve still got 7 more games like this to go. Better to be at the top fighting than also rams and we still are fighting for it

It was just an opportunity missed today.

Who’s got the stomach for it?

Not me. I love a bit of quitting me. No positive **** from me...ever.

Needed to go to the toilet earlier and just pissed my pants instead of walking to the bathroom.

Just realised if I go to Centra tomorrow that there is a chance I will punch the ****ing manc that works there. Ahh **** it, will just make sure it is a good shot and say he pulled a knife on me

Nah no chance he will go there next season.

            PSG though.......

I was apprehensive about Amorim (and Xabi's) 3 at the back strategy at Anfield. But now I welcome it with open arms. My threshold for putting up with silly goals conceded every week had been reached. I'm ok with the the safety first approach now rather than endless rock and roll.

2 league draws and a cup loss against this ****e in his final season. Unbelievable.

                  Maybe he'll stay on now...

Our next toughest is probably W Ham away whereas Arsenal have Spurs and Man U away; City have quite an easy run in, but have Spurs A. If we win all our remaining games (we also have Everton A and Spurs H) then we're still champions, assuming we either beat Arsenal on GF or they drop a point v Spurs or Man U. I think that's right. We're still in a good position. Of course a win would have been better...
We aren’t over turning the GD, they are plus 9 at the moment, that means we need to win every game by more than 1 goal more that Arsenal do between now and the end of the season, they are typically scoring 3 a game at the moment, we are creating chance after chance as we saw today but they are going begging. Only way we win the league now is if Arsenal drop points

**** it, I'm in. Title run ins of old used to have loads of draws until the end, we're so used to winning that a draw feels like a defeat.

We're not cut adrift and we're still in it.

The truth is it was Quansahs mistake that cost us the win. He’s young, but that could be very costly we were in total control. He’s young, he’s class, but those mistakes are the ones that haunt you.
Yeah it was the mistake that cost us, but equally if we had been 3-0 up as we should have been when he makes that mistake it doesn't matter. Individual errors happen, not killing the game off was IMO a bigger problem

Arsenal will drop points IMO, we just need to make sure we win our remaining games now

Well, like I say - they have ManU and Spurs Away, so that's very feasible.
                                Really?
