This is our problem. It's exactly how they'll play and we are capable of giving away the softest of goals to the worst teams in the league. We don't really know how to play any other way.

No way is gomez our best defender. He is clumsy and switches off all the time. His pace gets him out of trouble. He's been good on the ball but his limitations are apparent when he constantly cuts inside. He started in the cup game and was poor. We have drawn at home and lost in the cup. Let's have a more positive approach this time.

Let's get straight into to them from the off, 3 up in 15 minutes and then manage the game out. Job done.
Yeah we could do with a fast start today.

Impressive away wins from City and Arsenal yesterday. We need to push home our advantage. Make them pay for not going for it when they played each other.

Interestingly just back from my sons match and one of his team mates is respecting Ramadan and we gave him a lift, no water for a full match… is that the same for the pros? It has to be a factor in energy levels.

Their crowd is a fast start from us away from turning on the manager also - the fact that they are so close to the edge morale wise has to be something we use to our advantage.

ETH has said they will play angry. I’m not sure that’s what they need and again if we can take the emotion out of the game and kill the crowd we are in a strong position.

As with the remaining games any sort of win will do, but a good win would be nice for supporter health and well being.

Have you been watching Gomez this season? Clumsy and unfocused is not how I would describe his performances and the impact he has had, he’s hardly put a foot wrong.

We were winning comfortably while he was playing RB in the cup game, we only came undone when Klopp swapped him with Bradley.

I think there will goals for both teams today.

We need to be super clinical and ruthless with chances we will get. Can't really afford to be wasteful today.

Even if we go two up at some stage, they can get a couple of goals from nowhere. Just like they did at Chelsea and us in the past few weeks.
              Oh I don't know.

The supposed Manc line up is out too. No Garnacho if true.

                    Rumoured team was correct

                    Strong bench too.

That starting XI is more than good enough to get the job down. Just needs to match the Mancs for intensity from the first whistle and then let quality show.

The Garnacho not starting for them rumour was wrong though

That's our best available line up bar konate.

No excuses. Be clinical. Please be ****ing clinical. Just don't **** it up. Go hard.

                        Quite zen about the game.

Think we will have learned lessons from the other two games against them this season.

Be no surprise to see them score first and maybe even go two ahead and then after a half time of the team being called **** in this thread, we blitz them in the second half.

Been a while since I said this, but think we are about to have a gunfight game.

Hopefully the Mancs have brought a pocket knife to said gun fight

I'm surprisingly relaxed too. Stress levels are nowhere near the Arsenal or City matches. Yet...

Wish I felt like that. I'm so nervous, it feels like cup final nerves.

Surprised to see Bradley ahead of Gomez. Can understand it though as Gomez had become quite laboured over the last two games. Klopp is confirming the 'you score 1, we'll score 3' philosophy. Good, it looks goal difference as well as the win is on our minds.
                              One tit for another.

                                We're gonna smash them, Bob.

So pour yourself a nice gin, then have another gin or three, kick back and sit there safe in the knowledge we are going to win because I said so.

Then after we win, come thank me.

If for some reason we do not win, then blame Dom for being a surprisingly relaxed jinx. crackoff:
